A resident of West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, Thomas Hartshorn is dedicated to supporting the local community. Thomas Hartshorn served as president of the West Middlesex council from 2015 to 2017 and was a board member for 8 years. In addition to his work with the council, he is involved with Harrisville Church, Christ Covenant Church, and the Good Shepherd Church of West Middlesex.

Thomas Hartshorn currently attends the Grove City Education Center for Adults in Grove City, Pennsylvania. In addition to his educational pursuits, he works at New Castle, Pennsylvania’s Custom Pallet and Mulch as a laborer. His responsibilities include using a variety of construction tools to build and repair custom pallets. Prior to his current position, he worked for Dairy Farmers of America as a master whey technician and product preparer. He also previously worked at Norshipco Shipbuilding as a marine thermo technician for 5 years. In this role, he installed marine equipment, removed asbestos from valves and pipes, and rebuilt damaged areas of ships.
